18Bet review

18bet website reviewOnline since 2010l, 18Bet is licensed and regulated by the government of Curacao and has steadily grown a reputation for high odds and very good customer service.

The black-themed website is very easy on the eye, it looks like one of the better designed portals on the web, though it`s probably a matter of taste here. The accesibility and usability is pretty good, as you have all important betting types (1×2, handicaps, under / overs) visible on the main page, without needing to make an extra click on the event. One thing I don`t like is that they don`t have sub-tabs on the sidebar, so once you select a sport you have to manually scroll down to find your desired competition or, more comfortably, select it from a menu up top.

Bonus and promotions

At 18Bet, you can choose from two excellent options for your welcome bonus. You can opt in for a 30 Euro, 150% bonus (ex: deposit 20, get another 30) or a 50 Euro, 100% bonus (ex: deposit 50, get another 50). The downside is that the bonus amount must be wagered 12 times on odds of 1.80 or higher. See terms and conditions on the right under “bonus code”.

They run a nice promotion for accumulators, where you get from 20% up to 80% cashback if your combo misses by one game. Just have to e-mail support and for a 3 game accumulator you get 20% cashback, for a 4 selections combo you get 50% back and for a 5 game accumulator you will claim 80% cashback.

Odds, markets, limits

Prices are excellent. 18Bet has a payout average of almost 95%, which comfortably puts them in the “high odds” category of bookmakers. Big events like the top football competitions obviously get competitive odds, but I found even better prices on competitions like, for example, the NBA. Margins are tipically 1.92 – 1.92 or 1.93 – 1.93, which is not “top of the market”, but surely way above average.

The market selection and betting coverage is nice but, in an age where pretty much every bookmaker excels in this department, one can`t say that 18Bet is standing out of the crowd. They have an average market selection, going down to College Football, Futsal, Badminton or Tennis ITF events. Handicaps are good and there are plenty of betting types and options on top events – but there could be more special bets like corners or bookings, especially on lesser events. They could also do with more sports, as there are under 20 on offer right now. But, all in all, you should be satisfied with the betting coverage as long as you do not have very high and particular demands.

Limits are above average, especially for the big competitions, where they are pretty high – as you can bet well over 10.000 Euros on top events like the Premier League, including in-play. Lower – tier events / sports / competitions also have rather good limits, though large bets may sometimes need manual approval.

Live betting, mobile betting

As far as football goes, live betting is excellent at 18Bet, with events ranging from the Jordan Cup to different youth and reserve competitions. Other sports are not so well represented, but you still get the likes of, for example, tennis challengers or Women`s Russian basketball finding their way on offer. The problem is with betting types, as even on the biggest matches you don`t have many options aside from 1×2, asian handicaps and under / overs (which, at least, are very satisfactory).

18Bet has a relatively new mobile app, which I have to say is a good thing, as it allows them to use the latest technology. The app is very solid, mobile betting is nice and comfortable and includes a 15 Euro bonus for your first phone bet.

Customer support, banking

Arguably the best thing about 18Bet, along with the high odds, is their customer support – as they deserve an A+ grade for their client assistance. They are very well segmented on departments and provide fast, reliable English support 24/7. I received manually written replies in literally minutes. Having a live chat is another big plus. You can also contact them by phone and they own a useful FAQ section.

Deposit methods are moderately varied, as you can use Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Skrill, Neteller, PaysafeCard, or EntroPay. Withdrawals can be made trough the same options with the exception of PaysafeCard and Mastercard. Overall, decent banking service.

18Bet bookmaker review summary

18Bet is one of those Sportsbooks where it`s worth having an account due to their very high odds, which are sometimes the best on the market. With their great prices going hand in hand with the excellent client assistance, 18Bet is a bookmaker that can work for the professional punter, but also for the more casual one, given their accumulator cashback offer, decent betting coverage and good live betting. With all the above in mind, 18Bet is a Sportsbook worthy of a 4 star ranking from us.
