Goals are expected by everybody in this clash, but I would not count on that. Dortmund might score 5 or 6 goals per game recently, but they can not do that against a team like Real Madrid in a clash that seems very evenly matched. The same can be said about the visitors – who haven’t even been that impressive up front over the last few weeks.
I don’t expect the two teams to go full steam at each other or to play all out attacking football. We know both can score, but I just don’t think this is that kind of match. It is a balanced, important Champions League clash and it will be difficult for each side to break the other down. Recent results support this theory, with the last 3 direct meetings ending 2-0, 3-0 and 2-0.
