Chievo comes after a disappointing loss at Empoli. It was quite strange how Empoli was so favored by the bookies despite Chievo’s good run and no important missings in the lineup. Maybe they knew something we did not. Today however, it seems the bookies know shit because they priced Chievo at the same price at Milan.
Milan really is just waiting for the moment Inzaghi gets the boot so they can actually play football. Milan has played so bad so far it makes your eye hurt. They are zero this season under Inzaghi. If it was not for Menez they would be fighting to avoid relegation. Their defense is really bad (most goals conceded from set-pieces), their midfield lacks any creativity. Their attack is the key, they have good players in attack like Menez, Honda, Cerci, Bonaventura, Destro, although not all of them can play at the same time. Cerci and Honda will probably not start in the lineup and will be kept on the bench.

Chievo is like in previous years, a well organized team that manages to stay up with poor players but a very good game plan. This year it’s no different. They got some interesting players like ever young Paloschi, a serbian guy in the name of Radovanovic and Schelotto (ex-Atalanta, ex-Inter). They are overall hard to beat, play very well tactically and these are exactly the kind of teams that frustrate Milan. I expect a 1-1 draw or even a 1-0 win for Chievo.
