FC Botosani will host Dinamo Bucharest in the 15th round of the Romanian Liga 1, with the two teams currently fighting for a playoff position.

FC Botosani had a good start to the season and is 5th in the standings, but recently their level of play dropped a bit on the offensive end – where they are usually very competent. Botosani will miss Fulop and Elek, while Dumitras and Ciaccheri are doubtful. Dinamo has a full squad available. There are rumours that Dinamo might change from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-3-3, but it`s impossible to anticipate if that will be the case. Personally I doubt it, I think if Miriuta wanted to change the system he would have done it last round in an easier game which was right after the International break.

Since Vasile Miriuta took over as Dinamo manager three rounds ago not much has changed with the team, which continues to be extremely vulnerable at the back even against the lowest level of opposition. Dinamo kept just 4 clean sheets in 14 rounds this season – three of them were against the worst two teams in the league (Juventus twice, Sepsi), and one was early in the season against Viitorul, when Viitorul rested its best players as they were playing in Europe at that time.

Even if Botosani has struggled up front lately, failing to score in the previous two rounds, they remain an offensive minded side and should be able to find the net at least once against this poor Dinamo defense. At the same time Dinamo has the attacking quality to score once or twice.

Matches in Botosani between these two teams have always been entertaining, as Botosani never parked the bus at home against Dinamo, always played aggressive football, and thus there were open spaces to exploit for both sides.
