Jack Sock and Stan Wawrinka square off in a very interesting third round match at the ATP Masters event in Toronto, Canada.
Sock was dominant so far this weak, defeating Kudla (6-2 6-2) and an in form Young (6-4 6-3) in straight sets. Jack played some great tennis, confirming his good form for the year, both short term and long term. Sock was on the back of a quarterfinal exit at Washington, where he also played solid tennis but eventually lost against Karlovic in two tiebreaks.
Stan Wawrinka isn`t playing his best tennis right now. After a semifinal showing at Roland Garros, Stan posted an unimpressive 1-2 win-loss record in the grass court season, losing to Del Potro in the Wimbledon second round. Here in Toronto he got past Youzhny in his first (and only) match, but a 7-6 7-6 win over the out of form Russian wasn`t exactly something to shout about. Wawrinka had a good season overall, but was pretty volatile, alternating magnificent performances with a few very poor showings.

This will be the first Head 2 Head meeting between the two players. Both love the hard courts here in Toronto, so an analysis of the H2H and matchup is not quite relevant for this match.
Wawrinka can explode at anytime, that`s a fact, but his recent performances don`t indicate it. A match against an up and coming, big serving and in form Jack Sock has all the makings of a difficult one, even if Wawrinka suddenly finds his best form.
Sock’s serve should keep him in sets here, we could see a tiebreak and if Wawrinka doesn`t play well, Sock could well end up winning. I don`t think Jack will get the victory, but I fully expect a close match. Expect some great shotmaking and no more than a couple of points here and there deciding the sets.
I`ll go with the game total in this match. The line is set at 22.5, but I`m buying half a point in order to have a safety net in case of a potential 7-6 6-3. I think it`s a pretty logical and simple bet to take, I will invest a high stake of 9 units here and I have to say that I don`t see this 22 game line staying up until game time.
