Playoff contenders Pandurii Targu Jiu will play host to Concordia Chiajna in Romania, Liga 1.
Some words about Pandurii. A team funded by the city hall, just like Chiajna. A team with great quality players, especially in offense. They sold their goalscorer, Mihai Roman II to some dutch team, but they made Hora play upfront as a lone striker and they are waiting to use Wellington, a good Brazilian striker who came from Chiajna in the summer, but got injured and did not play in the last three weeks.
Pandurii’s coach is the son of the National team coach. He is a young and inexperienced coach, but he made a good impression so far. He is not a “hard” coach. Pandurii is a skillful team that performs well against teams that also want to play football.

Chiajna are a small team, also funded by city hall. It’s hard to see why somebody would fund a team without supporters, but money laundering is easy in Romania. They just parted ways with their coach, Talnar, a really shitty coach. The new one is Falub, a guy I like. He promoted ASA Tg Mures, and was fired shortly after.
I trust Chiajna. They have a good roster, they should not have relegation troubles. They have players like Purece, Serediuc, Pena, Dina, and especially Vali Lazar. Also Marian Constantinescu, brought in from Brasov. They should do much better than they did so far, as they stand on the 12th place.
The weather in Romania is terrible, close to 5 degrees, raining all the time. It will favor the more determined team and it won’t help a technical team that likes to pass the ball, like Pandurii. Concordia Chiajna +0.5 handicap is my bet. Good Luck!
