Feyenoord is not in a much different situation than PSV …also having a good young squad with players from their youth ranks mixed with more experienced ones (but they play much more defensive football) … just won 2-0 at home over Sevilla last week and are in incredible form with 5 wins to nil and a draw in the last 6 matches. Feyenoord did not concede a goal over these 6 matches! In Eredivisie are only 3rd, 7 points behind today`s opponents because of a very bad start to the season. This looks a very interesting clash of styles between the all out attack type of football played by PSV and the more defensive approach by Feyenoord. Considering how important the game is and the high stakes involved, I think Feyenoord will drag PSV in a dogfight and we will see a quality but underish game. PSV can’t go guns blazing against such a quality team like Feyenoord. My tip is under 2,5 goals … Feyenoord received only 7 goals in 13 matches in the Eredivisie and allowed ZERO goals over the last 6 matches in all competitions; don’t think they will allow more than one today but they will also find it very hard to score vs. such a strong opposition. After Feyenoord allowed much more goals in recent games I will lower my initial stake of 8 to 7, but I am actually happy … Feyenoord remains a very good defensive team and will be even more keen to defend well after the recent results. Odds are also much higher.
