Bernard Tomic the local boy from Australia will head into this tournament as Seed no. 1 although he has been marked only second favourite by the bookies only to the Bulgaraian Grigor Dimitrov who is ranked 15 places below (yes below) Tomic but has a 2-0 record against Tomic , there is not much of a difference , Grigor to win is @4.50 and Tomic @5.00 , but considering Tomic's home conditions and current form , I think Tomic to win has a great value.

He always manages to produce his A games when he is playing in Australian soil , reached the semi finals of Australian open when he was just 18.
With all the crowd backing , expectations and the kind of tennis He has been playing , Tomic to win the tournament in his home soil before the Australian Open has great value .
