Southampton is an incredible surprise this season. They are 6th place with 19 points and they are having big hopes for the European spots this season. They are undefeated at home and have lost only 1 game on the road. They have won their last 3 games at home with the same score, 2-0. I noticed that they score 1-2 goals fast and then they defend the score and they are doing this well thinking that they have the best defensive so far in Premier League. Even though they have the best defensive their offensive is not that good, scoring only 11 goals so far, but they do their job when it’s needed.
On the other side we have Hull City. Hull is 10th placed with 14th points and their goal difference is 8-10. Hull have only won 1 game on the road and lost 4. From a total of 10 goals conceded in all of their Premier League games so far, 9 were conceded on the road.
So Southampton is a good team at home with a good defensive and a decent offensive while Hull is a disaster on the road. For me this is the same scenario as in Southampton last games: 1 or 2-0 till the half time and then defend this result till the end of the game. I don’t see how Hull wouldn’t concede goal or goals today since they have conceded in all of their other away games. And with only 8 goals scored so far I don’t think that Hull would be able to score any goals in today’s game against Premier League best defensive.
