One of the most interesting duel in last round of qualifications for Champions league should be this one. In first match Hoffenheim will host Liverpool. Both teams could get a much easier opponent for this stage but draw wanted this two teams to face.
Liverpool will enter this match after great preseason. Wins against Bilbao, Hertha and Bayern gave them confidence. At the end they failed to win Audi cup after they lost in penalty shootout. Liverpool did not start in Premier league as they expected. Only draw against Watford is not what they counted. It was match with lot ups and downs for Liverpool. After great performance during preseason Sturridge got injured (again) and he is out of the team. Lallana who was great last season will skip first several weeks and there is problem with Couthino who desperate wants to go to Barcelona. Couthino will not play in this match and I think it is only matter of time when will he leave the club. Liverpool should not be worry about their attack. Mane, Salah and Firmino looked good in first Premier league match. But they should definitely be considered about defense and midfield. There is lot of to improve in this areas.
Jurgen Klop is manager who insists on high pressure, and direct attacking play. I expect the same in this match. Home team showed good football last season and they were good at their pitch but I I see team from England as favorites. At early stage of the season this is very important match for Liverpool and it can affect a lot on the team. If they manage to make positive result it can give them plenty of confidence. I do not think Liverpool defense can be that messy like they were last weekend. On the other side attack should show the same and I expect Liverpool to win this match.
