Feyenoord - AZ Alkmaar

After the KNVB Cup the next top match is already on the program this weekend. Busy schedule may impact legs of involved teams. AZ despite 8 absences of Ajax still lost at home which I would consider under current circumstances  quite a surprise. Feyenoord also not without problems won 3:2 at home. The teams are only at one point from each other and close to Ajax, Vitesse and PSV. Given the position (Feyenoord 4th, AZ 5th) it will undoubtedly be an exciting game .. on a paper..  There are more sparks because a few months ago Feyenoord seduced the head coach of AZ to come to Feyenoord, so both teams know each other very well.

Feyenoord haven’t been wholly convincing for much of the campaign and mutual confrontation against top teams show Ajax 5-7 shots, AZ 12-15 in Cup, 14-7 v PSV in the run-up I don't see so much goal attempts.  Both the Rotterdamers and the Alkmaarders  seem to lack the most creative midfielders. Orkun Kökcü is absent at Feyenoord, the name of AZ'er Calvin Stengs has a question mark as well.
