Well first of all I need to say that I am surprised by the odds in this match. Both teams are not playing so closed football in defense so that they should be so high. New Zealand has played with more than or 3 goals in the last 3 matches, one against Japan and two against Mexico. I did not see the match against Japan but in the ones against Mexico there was some serious deference in the way New Zealand was playing then before. They do want to open up the match and so create and allow the opponent to create a lot of chances.
I have not seen South Africa play recently but by the results I can say that they also like to play more open now. They have played with at least 2 goals in the last 5 matches and 3 were with 3 or more goals.
