Southampton:
They lost their first match against Liverpool with 2-1 away but they deserved at least 1 point in this game. But it is to say that Liverpool hadn't so many chances. They tried to play passes trough the defense and find gaps in there. It worked at their first goal. Henderson passed wonderfully to Sterling and he could score. It looked like Southampton has some problems in defense because of their important leavings (Lovren, Shaw). Many people were excited to watch Southampton play with so many important leavings this transfer period. Lallana, Lambert and the two I already mentioned. But on the other side they spent there money very well too. Tadic, who came from Twente, impressed with superb passes and working without the ball. He also was involved at the first goal where he made an excellent assist. Another man to mention is Schneiderlin. He showed a good performance too and almost shot the equaliser in the last minutes of the match where he hit the crossbar. All in all Southampton deserved at least 1 point in that game because they created really good chances but the crossbar and Mignolet prevented it. I think we will see them much stronger at home in this match and I am confident that they will win here. All players are available except their new signing Gardos and Jay Rodriguez.
West Brom:
They drew at the first match 2-2 vs Sunderland. In my eyes Sunderland was a little bit better and they should have won this match because West Brom got a penalty, which wasn't one. Cattermole scored them a fabulous long shot goal in the first half and Larsson scored them the second in the last minutes of the match. The reason why they conceded the late goal is that West Brom players looked like they concentrate more on the ball and not on the players around and this can be deadly against Southampton.
Southampton won both matches against them last season with 1-0 and I think the will do it again here. They played very well against Liverpool and I think they will be the better team here because they are playing at home and West Brom looked like they have some problems in defending.
