Manchester City started with a 2-0 win over Newcastle into the new season but it seemed like they didn't started like the finished the season. One of the reasons could be Yaya Toure who played a fantastic season. He has some problems with his knee. Nevertheless he was the man who gave the wonderful pass to Dzeko, who made an superb heel-assits to Silva. Yes, the teamwork who led to this goal was good but we know Man City as a team who can with 5-0 and higher against such teams (Newcastle with terrible results in the second half of the last season). Aguero scored the 2-0 in the end of the match. As always cool. I think he will be in the starting line up in this match. I think we will see them performing better in this match because Liverpool had some problems in defense against Southampton and City don't need many chances to score.
Liverpool with a 2-1 against Southampton in their first match. It easily could have been 2-2 as Southampton hit the crossbar late in the game. On the other side Liverpool had good chances too. Sturridge and Sterling the new stars since last season scored for them. Liverpool played most of the time trough the right side with the look to Sterling who always run for the long ball. At the first goal it worked. I see them scoring again here as we know Liverpool as a team who always scores easily. Moreover Sturrigde showed last season that he is a killer in front of the goal and I expect him here to score again.
Previous meetings always ended with many goals and last 5 never under 3 goals. 3-5, 2-3, 2-1, 2-2, 2-2. And Liverpool didn't look very good in defense against Southampton so I expect Man City to win here at home, but as it is always risky to bet on such games I will go for a better bet in my eyes. Over 3 goals on asian handicap lookes very good to me.
