England - Lithuania

England won all matches thus far in group E. Four matches, four wins, 11-1 goal difference. A run of six wins in six matches since the World Cup ended. Lithuania did pretty good also posting 2 wins and 2 losses in 4 games in the group but of course qualification is still only a dream for them. Lithuania did not win or score a goal in the last three clashes but held Ukraine to a 0-0 draw in Kiev in the last game, a friendly.

England: Hart; Walker, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines; Henderson, Carrick, Milner; Sterling; Rooney, Welbeck

Lithuania: Arlauskis, Vicius, Freidgeimas, Kijanskas, Zulpa, Vaitkunas, Matulevicius, Panka, Chvedukas, Cernych, Andriuskevicius

There is not much to say because of course the main argument is the total superiority of England over a team like Lithuania. But I think England's top form and Lithuania's inability to score make an upset not likely.

England goes on to win this at cruising speed in my eyes, they play too well and are still urged to prove a point after the poor performance at the World Cup. I'm sure they will win by at least two, but with a little chance they can score more. Switzerland beat Lithuania 4-0 in this group. England -2 AH.
