The Final of the Euro 2016 championships sees the host nation battle it out with the plucky Portgual outfit.
France were always expected to go deep into the tournament and overcame their sternest exam with a win over Germany.
As such, they deservedly start as favourites to see off Portugal. Whether they are too short to win in 90 minutes is another matter.
I will admit I got my fingers burned backing Wales to get a point against Portugal last time out. At half time 0-0 it looked like another tame finish in store but Ronaldo scored a lovely header and the momentum shifted and another quick one from Nani ensured Wales were left with a mountain to climb.
I don't think this will end in a win for Portugal despite their stubborn nature.
France will have a racuous crowd support and with too much attacking outlets I can see them breaking the deadlock. If and when this occurs, Portugal will have to find their way back into the game and I reckon they can as the France backline isn't rock solid despite keeping a clean sheet last time out against the Germans.
Even if France go behind they can still emerge with a win.
The 0-0 at half time is a concern here but even if that is the case I still reckon we can see this bet cash in the second half.
I expect a more lively affair in this final and a dull draw or low scoring game is worth opposing at the odds on offer.
