In today's fixture of the 15th round of the Spain Primera Division, Villareal will be facing Atletico Madrid at home. This match is expected to be rather tight and both teams are known for their defenses hence I do not expect many goals.
Villareal is playing at home and might be rather cautious however Atletico is quite dangerous especially in offense. The teams are placed respectively in the 5th and 6th place at the moment with Atletico Madrid being 2 points ahead. Despite being involved in the European Cups and the Cup matches both teams have been in good form recently.
Taking in consideration only the past 5 league matches, it would seem Villareal has won only one, drawn 1 and lost 3 being rather poor. With that said I believe Atletico Madrid will be rather aggressive and even if Villareal defends well I doubt they can keep it up for 90 minutes.
My selection would be Atletico Madrid to draw in the first half and settle the things in the second half perhaps by a minimal result 1-0. After all this fixture is supposed to be tight just as the h2hs suggest.
