This evening, the Big 10 Title game between Wisconsin and Ohio St. will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The Buckeyes are 5-point favorites, while the total sits at 50.5 points at the moment.
Wisconsin has gone through the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record and should secure a spot in the National playoffs if they win tonight. They have stellar defense, basically the best in the nation. They are #1 in terms of yards allowed and #2 in points allowed. They allowed only 133 yards of total offense to Minnesota last week, in 31-0 win. While many think that their offense is bad, it's just not true. They have 426 yards/game (182 passing and 243 rushing), while scoring 34.8 points/game.
Ohio St. have been very good on offense this year as they come in ranked 4th in the nation in total offense with 529 yards/game and 5th in scoring with 43.8 points per game. Their defense is nowhere close, though. Also, they have two losses this year and both were blowouts. They lost at home to Oklahoma by 15 and then, later on, they lost at Iowa by 31. Wisconsin is much, much tougher team than Iowa and I'll happily take points here, and also believe the Badgers win straight up. Good luck!
