With the 38-35 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, the Buccaneers won their third game in a row. Once again there was a shootout in a game involving Tampa Bay. Quarterback Jameis Winston had another crazy game. In total, he threw two interceptions, including a pick 6 over 80 yards. There was also a fumble that the Colts could recover. It is all the more astonishing that Winston still reached 456 passing yards and threw a total of five touchdown passes. It is not for nothing that the Bucs' passing offense is currently in second place in the NFL. The run defense of Tampa Bay also remains extremely strong this season. The big problem, passing defense, is still there despite small improvements.
The Lions are currently somewhat the opposite of Tampa Bay. After quarterback Stafford was injured, the Lions season got worse. Very little worked with Jeff Driskel and David Blough, who played a surprisingly good game against the Bears, cannot prevent the misery in Detroit. With the defeat against the Minnesota Vikings, it was hailing for the sixth time in a row. The triggers of this negative series are obvious. Matthew Stafford's quality cannot be compensated for after his failure. Detroit is also one of the NFL's worst defenses. In pass defense they are ranked 30th in the league. Detroit is likely to have massive problems with the Buccaneers' Reciever here in the Secondary.
