Orleans - Guingamp
Orleans is, no doubt, the team who disappointed a lot in first part of the season, finishing rock bottom with only 13 points collected. Without having the worst squad in the Ligue2, with a competitive coach (Olle-Nicolle who finished with more or less same squad in previous season on 8th spot and this in conditions of collecting a single point in last 6 games), it’s clear they under-performed a lot so far. Guingamp didn’t had a great first part of the season having a slow start. They have sacked the coach who started the season, P. Lair in charge being now his adjunct S. Didot. They had many problems, but after changing the coach somehow, they took more points, especially versus lower ranked teams. Usually when they have played versus top teams they have lost. No doubt remains an offensive team, who ended the 2019 with an astonish away win 5-1 at Chateauroux. Is the most offensive team with 32 goals scored in first part of the season but also with lacking of concentration at the back – 24 goals conceded. Start of the 2020 was rather good, even the snatched a point in injury time versus the champions of first part of the season Lens (1-1). Less used Boudjemaa and Phaeton left the team while young striker Julan died due to a car accident at the beginning of the year. Eboa is suspended.
Under new coach Didot, Guingamp had no problems to win versus poor teams as Orleans proved to be. So Let’s back once again Guingamp to win. gl
