Euro 2016 Qualifiers start for my country, best of luck.
Azerbaijan came till the 73th rank in FIFA ranking. That is the best ranking in our football history. We showed really good performance in World Cup Qualiefiers, lost only 3 times, twice to Portugal and only once to Russia. We never were trailing after the first half, because of the low fitness level of our players we only conceeded and lost points in second half. Our national team got really stronger in last years, youth departments work very active and find new youth talents and add them to the national team. Of course we are not going to battle for the 1st and 2nd places in the group as most probably Italy and Croatia will grab that positions, but I believe we can easily battle for the 4th or even 3rd rank in the group. I believe if we will show the same performance as last year we can create troubles to Norway for the 3rd rank. This game will be played in Bakcell Arena, because our main stadium is getting ready for the Karabakh's game in Europa League. Our national team played 4 games before in that stadium, Aze 0-0 Uzbekistan, Aze 1-1 Russia, Aze 2-0 N.Ireland and Aze 3:0 Malta. As you can see its very lucky stadium for the national team, and all tickets are sold out already. After succesfull performance from our clubs in europe fans expect a lot more from our national team thats why there will be great atmosphere in the stadium.
Many Bulgarian friends told me that their national team is in a very bad shape right now, too many injuries and to team chemistry. Nikolay Mihaylov (1st gk/29 apps), Ivan Ivanov (3/39, df), Petar Zanev (0/24, df), Yordan Minev (0/16, df), Ivelin Popov captain (8/48, fw), Emil Gargorov (3/22, fw), Dimitar Rangelov (3/30, fw) will miss tonight's game because of injury. Bulgaria will miss their 1st gk, 2 important defenders and 3 important forward players. All these players had the most appearances in their positions and they are very important players, I am sure Bulgaria will be very weakened tonight with all those missings. Bulgaria are on the 72th rank, just one rank higher than Azerbaijan in FIFA ranking. Its a typical draw game in my opinion but I give high chances Azerbaijan to win this game with 1 goal difference thats why I will go with Aze +0.5 Handicap rather than betting straight for draw.
