This i UFC fight in 145 lb (65kg) between Clopton vs Yahya.
Because the total has set here 1,50 rounds, and the odds are very good 2.0 i just had to study this fight! First at all the line 1,50 is very low, remember this fight is in 65kg, usually fights in lower classes are long are very even. I think the line should be definitily at 2,5 when speaking low weigth classes.
Also the odds are very high at 2,0, it could be huge value but of course u never no sure what mental state and tactics fighters are. Maybe the reason for low total is that normal odds favor Yahya 1,11 Clopton 8.05 so i assume bookies think Yahya will end this fight fast. But i dont think this is so easy fight,every fighter in UFC are very good.
Well Yahya's expert is submissions, not striking so first he has to take to fight to ground. This will take same time and also takes some time to setup submission. I have to say i dont know anything about Clopton, i can see he has lost to Steven Siler on decision on his only UFC fight! And he is ranked as well rounded fighter with 100 % takedown defence for that fight!
So all in all i take this bet because:
- Fight is low weight class, usually fights go to later rounds!
- Total is set only 1.50 and odds are great 2.0
- Yahya is submission fighter, so fast ko/tko is not what you expect
