Scott Quigg Vs Stephane Jamoye

Quigg makes a fourth defence of his fringe super bantamwieght world title on Saturday, 13th September and he will be hoping to impress against Belgium's Stephane Jamoye.

A year ago a lot of people were excited about Quigg's chances of being a world champion but now that he is some of public confidence has gone. It stems from Quigg's first title defence after he was promoted to champion when he laboured to a MD draw against Yoandris Salinas. The Cuban was KO'd in his following fight in five rounds by an anonymous Mexican.

Jamoye has fought for a world title before but he isn't really world level. He has a come forward style and he gets stoppages - all of Jamoye's wins in last five years have come by KO. But in the 16 bouts over that period he has lost five times - twice by ko and three times by mixed or split decision.

Quigg has been down twice in his career and a small bet on him losing in the first six rounds in a valid shout. More likely is that the men meet in the middle of the ring with similar styles and Quigg, the bigger man, wins the shoutout. I will be backing Quigg to win in rounds 1-6 at 5/4.
