Wladimir Klitschko Vs Kubrat Pulev

Wladimir Klitschko is approaching 70 professional bouts, it is eight year since he last lost and he first became a world champion 14 years ago. The experience of the champ is huge and not only is he still at the top of his game, he might be a his peak.

Kubrat Pulev is one of the few good heavyweights in the world and he is unbeaten as a pro after a successful amateur career. The Bulgarian deserves his shot and I expect he will make a decent contest of it, but with a ko rate of only 55% he has little chance of winning.

The bookies support this view but they reckon on the Ukrainian stopping his man. Klitschko obviously has a very impressive ko record, 80%, but let's be honest, most of Klitschko's opponents weren't up to much. Against the two best fighters he faced in recent times, Alexander Povetkin and David Haye, he won comfortably but on points.

I actually think that Klitschko winning by decision is the most likely outcome, so the odds of 11/5 on this method of victory seem like a great opportunity to me and I will be lumping on this result.
