Until couple rounds ago, Olimija was contender for the spot in the play-off. however, with results in the past months, concluded with the defeat against Igokea in the lst round, they chances are only theoretical now. The loss itself shows the inconsistency of this team, even that they have good players overall, and they confidence is certainly now on the low end. Finally, they depend lot on their 3pt shot, and if Buducost manage to contain it, Olimpija will have big problems to score.
On the other hand, Buducnost is almost certain for the playoff-spot, and after some bad results, they are getting back on the right track, and I am sure that they will demonstrate this in Ljubljana. Despite the fact that they lost 5 out of last 6 games, they are too good team to continue this slump. Narrow defeat by Gran Canaria in the last round of Eurocup, and the way they played there is a good sign.
