It's only fair that before you continue reading this, you know that I am an avid Milan fan. However I couldn't overlook the odds for an away win against newly promoted Verona.
We have seen Milan against PSV and I was surprised at their fitness levels given that the Dutch team had 5 competitive matches under their belt. Although Allegri will rotate some of his hard-working players, Montolivo, El Sharaawy and Balotelli are all expected to start. Constant will be the only newcomer in the back four and Nocerino, Poli and Niang will join their captain in midfield.
There isn't much to say about Verona. They have experience within their ranks (the likes of Luca Toni and Massimo Donati) and some young talent however they are no match for the Rossoneri. The risk is that Milan take it easy in view of their Champions League encounter on Wednesday, however I am sure that this won't be the case given their will to give Juventus a run for their money this year. Away win at full stakes for me.
