Schalke face PAOK in what is probably their season lifeline following a horrible start to the season. The German team had an excellent pre-season however their form dipped as soon as the official matches kicked in.1 point from 3 matches in the Bundesliga and a drab 1-1 home draw against PAOK leaves much to be desired and whilst they are no dream team, Keller's team is surely better than that. The squad is composed of full internationals (Matip, Fuchs, Farfan, Huntelaar to name a few) plus some exiting like talent like Drexler, Meyer and Goretzka.
PAOK were lucky to be in this round after being recalled following match fixing issues led to the disqualification of Metalist Kharkiv. The Greek side have not been flourishing either with 1 win in 5 official matches. However they did show some resilience against Schalke and that 1-1 draw left them well into the qualification battle.
All in all Schalke is the better team here. The game is being played behind closed doors due to crowd trouble and I believe the German team has enough to pull off an away win. Any odds over evens would have been value for me and I will go with Schalke with medium-high level stakes.
