This is pure speculation but I can see it happening ..
Nadal played great his tournament, finally at good form, but also did not had top opponent. Only Berdych, but Nadal beats Berdych even on one leg. Now with Murray is different situation.
Murray gave Nadal big troubles on clay even when Nadal was at top of his game. Remember last year in Rome when Murray almost won that match .. on slower surface, in more bad form and Nadal was playing better.
Murray winning 6-3 6-4 vs Nishikori in semis showed that Murray is in great form. Murray played the best tennis he has in this tournament. And come after won tourney on clay in Munich.
I say Murray has a very good chance to win, maybe 40%. He will surprise many people with his performance for sure but I hope he has the guts to take the win also.
