Chicago Bulls travels to Milwaukee tonight for what is the 3rd game for each team in the NBA Preseason.
Bulls made a lot of noise in the summer, improving an already solid roster with guys like Pau Gasol or Nikola Mirotic and of course most notably Derrick Rose returned after his knee injury. The Bulls are clear title contenders this season (though I doubt they can even win the East) but their preseason was far from impressive so far with 2 losses out of 2 games against Washington and Detroit. Nevertheless, the Bulls did not play so bad, both loses were very close and they are expected to improve today after having more time to find cohesion and chemistry.

The Bucks will surely be one of the NBA`s worst teams again this season, despite signing Jabari Parker with the second pick in the draft. The Bucks have a thin roster with an obvious lack of talent but on their day they can spring a surprise. So far they have 1 win and 1 loss in the pre-season, beating Memphis at home and then losing to Detroit 2 days ago.
It`s only a preseason game so I will keep the stakes reasonable, but I really feel Chicago will win this, covering the spread in the process. After 2 narrow losses Chicago should really be able to edge this poor Milwaukee team. The new signings moved pretty well for the Bulls and it`s only natural to expect them to play better in the 3rd match after some more time together. Coach Thibodeau indicated that Rose and Noah will see more minutes today, which will clearly make Chicago stronger than in the 2 previous games. There`s also a matchup advantage for Chicago as far as I`m concerned, as they are probably the best defensive team in the NBA, while Milwaukee struggles a lot with scoring (did not pass 85 points in either of their 2 games so far).
My tip is Chicago Bulls to win and cover the 6,5 point spread, I`m not surprised that the odds are dropping on the Bulls.. Prediction: Chicago Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks 90-80.
