Sampdoria is a team i like very much, i have bet on them this season 3 or 4 times. They are a serious team, reliable, always fights until the last second, stays focused, defends set pieces well and they have some nice players – Gabbiadini, Eder and Obiang are the ones i like the most. But if you take each player individually, they really are not talented. In Serie A, most teams defend well so the real problem for a team like Sampdoria is not making 1-1 or 0-0 vs Juve and Roma, but defeating the average teams like Palermo, Cagliari or Udinese. The points that matter come from these games. And i think the odds are too short for Sampdoria, a team that really struggled to get winning results vs smaller sides.
