PSV’s investment in youth really pulled off, as the hosts have an amazing team after a couple of years of struggles. I fancy a high scoring game today – not necessarily because these sides like offensive football, but because of the circumstances. Firstly, there are key missings in the defensive lineups for both sides. Secondly, Zenit’s inactivity might cause them to commit a couple of mistakes and rely more on individual talent. PSV will likely take advantage of those mistakes with their amazing offense, but their inexperience might cause them to allow goal(s) due to defensive errors and/or one on one situation.
