Anderlecht is not an easy team to beat, but they are also not able to find the killer instinct too often and end up in a lot of draws. The hosts finished 3rd in a Champions League group with Dortmund, Arsenal and Galatasaray, but it was really a poor man’s game between them and Galata, with the Turkish side being absolutely atrocious. Dynamo Moscow will be able to field pretty much the best lineup … Valbuena is back and Ionov and Denisov (the only big injury worries) will probably be fit as well. Dynamo played some great football this season, they finished the Europa League Group (PSV, Estoril, Panathinaikos) with maximum points and they are third in the league. The problem for Dynamo is that they haven`t played an official match since January, so this will be a downside for them when they meet a team that is in the middle of the domestic league.
Even if Dynamo is in the winter break at the moment, they played some excellent football this year and I do not think they can lose to a below-par Anderlecht side. The Belgians are struggling at the moment, they are not a dangerous side in Europe anymore and might miss some key players … without adequate replacements.
