Inter Milan and Celtic put on the best show of the day in the Europa League last week, with Celtic coming back from 0-2 and 2-3 to gain a 3-3 draw in the last minute. Surely Inter would like less stress today, but there is no doubt that the Scots will be up for it again.

Inter will be without Jonathan, Nagatomo, Handanovic, Podolski and Brozovic, while D’Ambrosio and Andreolli are questionable. Celtic is healthier, only missing Mulgrew and Lustig – but these are huge absences on the defensive side. Denayer is doubtful.

This has all the makings of a high scoring game (not just because of the first leg) and I reckon a bet on the under/over market is better than a bet on Inter. I do expect the Italians to win, but it won`t be easy. They might choose a more cautious approach compared to the first leg but even so they allow way to many goals, while Celtic is absolutely pumping on all cylinders, scoring at least twice in 8 of the last 9 matches. On the other hand Inter is scoring at will as well under Mancini and they should take advantage again of the absences of Mulgrew and Lustig, along with Celtic’s vulnerable defensive setup. Both teams should score, but if Inter has a fantastic day they can win 3-0 by their own. My tip is over 2,5 goals. Prediction: Inter Milan – Celtic Glasgow 3-1.
