Elche – Valencia

Elche Valencia football tips and oddsElche is not in such a desperate situation as people might think. They are in #15 place, 2 points above Levante, the first team to relegate. But between Elche and Levante there are other teams, Almeria and Deportivo. And tied on points with Elche is Eibar. So the situation is not so desperate.

Elche will miss 2 players from the lineup, Aaron Niguez and Jose Angel, LAM and DM respectively (left attacking midfield and defensive midfielder for those not familiar). Elche is a poor team, end of story. Just think that their top striker is a brazilian, Jonathas they bought from Serie B in Italy. The guy has some skill, but clearly Elche is not La Liga material.

Valencia will not have Enzo Perez in the lineup, very good player, regular since he came, but they have enough depth and Javi Fuego can play well in his place. I wrote about Valencia several times, they have a new sponsor this year, Singapore business man, they have bought good players, a good coach, the guy that coached Rio Ave last year. They have no Europa League or other distractions (like Copa del Rey). They will win this, they have to, because Atletico wants to steal their #3 spot.

The truth is that there is a big difference between #3 and #4. Number 3 goes automatically to Champions League while number 4 goes to the preliminary round, where the team can meet other good sides like the #4 placed team from England, or Italy, or France. So it must be avoided at all costs.

My prediction is Valencia to win and start this weekend of football in good fashion, good odds on the bet, almost evens @ Sbobet. So, I will stake my classic 8 units on this bet. Good luck!

Pick: Valencia
Odds: 1.92 @ Sbobet
Stake: 8
Possible profit: 7.36
Event date: 20 March
