The Argentinean stated that his objective in Miami is to remain healthy and that he does not particularly care too much about the result in this match.

The Canadian is clearly underrated in this match and I expect the odds for a Pospisil win to drop, at least a bit. He`s a solid, talented player in reasonably good form and he clearly has the weapons to outplay an out of shape Del Potro, including a big serve to keep him protected from eventual momentum shifts. Juan Martin is expected to be very rusty, he was rusty in Sydney as well but his opponents in the first two rounds were in terrible form. There`s no way Del Potro can be a favorite here after playing 3 matches in over 13 months. His return was pretty bad in Sydney and I can`t see it coping with Pospisil’s serve.
Coming back from an injury after 1 year takes so much time, Juan Martin needed a lot of time the first time he got injured a few years ago.
