I’m not entirely confident that Sevilla can win this one today, because Levante is in very good form. I think it will be a close low scoring affair so I will back the under 2,5 goals bet on the under/over market. Levante (who scores less than 1 goal per game in average) might have exhausted their goal scoring appetite with those 4 goals in Almeria. Sevilla is one of the better defensive teams in La Liga with a fantastic clean sheet record … they allowed 33 goals in total bun only because of a horrible run of games one month ago when keeper Beto was injured. Meanwhile his reserve Sergio Rico improved, so he could remain in goal. They had games where they conceded 3, 4 or 5 but at one time Sevilla they had the longest run of clean sheets in La Liga and are back at the same level now.
Look for Sevilla to approach this match very cautiously, they will try to keep a clean sheet and try to bang in the winning goal over 90 minutes. They absolutely need the win and can’t afford to have to score twice. Levante will play it at 0-0, so my tip is under 2,5 goals. Correct score prediction: Levante – Sevilla 0-1.
