In short I have to pick the Jazz at this price.
They are doing a half-decent job right now. This was always gonna be a difficult season as they try to build a new team through the draft. However over the last 10 games they're a 5-5.
Lakers on the other hand ain't got anything that can be called a project. On top of that nearly everybody's injured. If they were a good team they would have a problem but they aren't a good team, nowhere near. They are 6 games into a losing streak.
The problem with this pick is that Utah doesn't have to win here, whoever wins this is a meaningless game.
But at a price over 2 it's worth a small risk.
