This could be their only chance to reach that magic 40 points needed to stay clear of relegation but it will not come easy as Palace are in dire need of the points themselves. They will be looking to move further away with a victory against an out of form Watford side and they could well get it with the way they have been playing against the smaller sides. Palace have lost three of their last six game but those defeats have come against Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool while they have won against Huddersfield and Brighton while drawing away at Bournemouth. benteke was on the bench in the Brighton game but could come back to the starting eleven here.
This is a game between two good attacking teams with a very porous defense line. I would expect to see goal in this game even from the first half time. Both teams battling to get away from the drop zones means either side is unlikely to lay down for the other which should make for an interesting tie. I believe we should see two goals in the first half time.
