Dustin Brown - Kei Nishikori 🎾

Dustin Brown won over Haider Maurer in the first round, pretty easy win, but come on Haider Maurer is not to be taken seriously on grass.

Dustin Brown had a below par season and he is only relevant on grass, but not always. He is a player who takes a lot of risks and plays serve and volley. He has very limited skills but has a good attitude, good (but not consistent) serve and very good volleys.

I think Nishikori will tear Brown's style apart. Nishi is a consistent presence from the baseline, he loves grass also and he is a couple of classes above Brown easily. He will force Brown to hit another shot and the German can't hit too many good ones in a row. Nishi will also use a lot of passing shots against Brown.

It is a distance in talent that we don't see everyday on ATP tour (with all respect to Brown, who is a nice joker on grass with his style).

Nishi is also in good form and won in 2 sets in the first round over a more dangerous opponent, Dominic Thiem.

With a match under his belt on grass and playing such a reckless and limited guy like Brown, I don't even think Nishi will leave him too many games. I see 6-3 6-2 or something like that.
