Raonic was injured at the start of the summer and when he came back he wasn't at his best. The recent results are not great at all, but Raonic played very well in the first round, took care of business with Smyczek, 3-0.
Verdasco as everybody knows can be hot and can be cold. Most usually in the last years and this year also he is cold. Fernando was just able to beat 37 y/o Haas in the first round in 5 sets. Haas was in bad form but only age stopped him to win this, he got tired.
