Seemingly the change of manager did a lot of good to Hungary, who recorderd a morale-boosting 1-1 draw in Romania after previously losing 1-2 at home to Northern Ireland. However, it has to be said that the Hungarians were far from impressive in Bucharest, barely touching the ball in the first hald and scoring at one of their only opportunities late in the game via a free kick.
