Arsenal will miss Vermaelen, Walcott, Ramsey, Kallstrom, Diaby and possibly Cazorla. The big problem for Wenger however is that he has no choice but to rotate the squad here, with the Bayern Munchen Champions League clash in just 3 days. Liverpool is the better team right now but the most important advantage they have is the fact that Arsenal needs to rest a couple of starters. I saw a better Arsenal team, in much better form, being routed at home by Chelsea in the League Cup, and I expect a similar outcome this time around. I can`t see Arsenal, who is already struggling offensively, creating to much danger without the likes of Walcott, Ramsey, Ozil or Giroud, while ‘Pool is scoring like crazy and will surely create a couple of solid chances. The gunners do have the strength to regain their form and they shouldn`t be underestimated (they did it in December after a similar bad run), but it does not seem likely they can do it today, considering the circumstances. My tip is Liverpool -0,25 asian handicap at very good odds, just a little bit lower than the simple win. Liverpool to qualify should be the safer bet, but I`m going with the better value here. Prediction: Arsenal – Liverpool 1-2.
