Also the motivation factor can not be ignored in this case. We all saw Real Madrid barely winning 1-0 vs a Liverpool side full of reserves … and Liverpool is 2 times worse than AS Roma.
Roma need the points and most of all, need a good performance to regain some confidence and remember that they are a very good team. Rudi Garcia is a great tactician, maybe even better than Pep Guardiola. I have always doubted Guardiola as a coach, he is good at building teams, making them play nice football, but he is not a good motivator.
