Losing against Fenerbahce over the weekend will have hurt Besiktas, but it will also give them extra motivation to redeem themselves in front of their own fans – not that extra motivation was needed in such a big match.
Leipzig is a quality team and can beat anybody on their day, but they are not in very good shape right now and it`s hard to see them as a clear cut favorite in this match – despite what bookies say. Playing in Turkey is always very difficult, and Besiktas is a solid team in good form, even if they lost that derby match on Saturday.
All in all, I find odds on Besiktas to be pretty good here and I am not surprised they are dropping. Look for a close game, and Besiktas, with home court advantage, should claim at least a draw here – a result which Leipzig would probably be satisfied with as well.
