I think Stephen Curry is gonna go off in this game.
Stephen Curry had a good game with 26 pts in the first game of the season, but Golden State lost to San Antonio.
Now they play the poor Pelicans ... and here is why I think Curry will be the MVP of the game:
Pelicans have one superstar and a bunch of absolutely scrubs. The superstar is Anthony Davis, if he is not on the team, this team doesn't win 5 games this season.
Anthony Davis is a PF and he will probably guard Kevin Durant some of the time (most of the time). He will not guard Curry. So Durant will have problems scoring ...
Golden State will exploit the best matchup for them ... as always ... and that will be Curry vs Frazier, the no name point guard of Pelicans. Or Curry vs the other poor Pelicans guards.
Curry will shoot the ball most times, I am sure. Durant won't take Davis when Curry can take on Frazier and the poor Pelicans guards.
Only problem is if Thomspon has one of his super hot nights and he will get the ball in that case ... but even so vs poor Pelicans Curry can score 30+.
Curry can score 30+ here for sure.
