First around at the Australian Open and we have Cilic playing against Moutet .
My first reaction seeing the odd on Cilic was that it's very wrong, Cilic should be priced 1.20 at best against Moutet but i had no idea that Moutet had an amazing week at Doha. However even with that knowledge I still feel it would be a relatively easy win for Cilic .
Moutet is not an hard court player, he doesn't like playing on the surface and before this year he had a negative record of 15/17 on the surface. I think what happened at Doha was the bigger players didn't just want to play, cos I see no other explanation of how Moutet will beat Verdasco, Raonic , Sandgren and Wawrinka all at the same tournament. He isn't that good .
Cilic took part at the ATP cup where he beat Novak and Zuk before losing his 3rd match against Pella. Cilic has a good record at this tournament having reached the final in 2018, he has lost out in the 1st round just once and that was way back in 2007, his first ever showing here.
I think the difference between the players is too much and Cilic will at worst win this match in 4 sets, he should win by at least 4 games.
