This is a semifinal match from the Solarino 4 ITF tournament between Federica Bilardo from Italy and Natalia Vajdova from Slovakia.
They have never met in a direct meeting.
To get to this round Bilardo defeated Spiteri 6-2, 6-4, Rubini 6-1, 6-3 and Arcidiacono 6-0, 6-2. She easily won all these matches and I think from the way she is performing she has a very good chance of winning today's match as well. She also played very well last week at the Solarino 3 ITF where she also managed to get to the semifinals stage before she was defeated by Gloria Liang. That being said Vajdova is not even close as good of a player as Liang is so I think that this time Bilardo has a very good chance of advancing to the final.
Vajdova got to the semis by defeating Tona 6-4, 7-5, Doroshina 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 and Schaeder 6-3, 6-2. She did manage a good win against Doroshina but her opponent was having some physical problems in that match so I'm not so sure what to make of the win.
I guess to me I am going to go with Bilardo, the home crowd favorite beacuse she performed very well these two weeks and there is to much value to not go with her.
