Sampdoria lost a key game for European qualification 0-2 with Fiorentina last week .. also breaking a run of 4 consecutive wins, but it was a hard game against one of the best sides in Italy. Now Sampdoria can not afford another losing game and they don't have an easy one with Milan, who has 2 wins in a row.
But come on, Milan won 3-1 with Cagliari and 2-1 with Palermo and people are talking about the resurgence of Milan? No way.
Milan is not playing anything and defend horribly. Sampdoria is one of the best organized sides in Italy and will surely punish this joke of a defense of Inzaghi's. Milan will shoot blanks in air trying to construct attacks but Sampdoria will punish them on counters and maybe even win the game. Simply and effective.
It is come to such a state for Milan, that I think they are actually underdogs at home with Sampdoria. IMO I will eat my hat if Sunday Milan still has odds < 2.00 to win.
