Schalke string of bad results saw an improvement last Sunday even though it was only a 1-1 draw. But getting it in Wolfsburg was a good achievement for the side.
4th place slipped away from Schalke but they try to hold on for Europa League spots, have 4 points over the 7th place.
Mainz plays for fun and honor because they have no objective in the end of the season but this is not stopping them to record great result after great result.
The six games played by Mainz in March and April were excellent. Only 2 wins, but they played some of the best teams in Bundesliga (Gladbach, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Werder). They lost only to Leverkusen.
Hard to see a definite winner so I am going for a draw .. the preferred results for Mainz and Schalke in the last matches and the preferred result for Mainz at home.
Hard to understand why the odds are so high on the draw. If you want a "banker", I think draw at half time or full time is a great bet, but I go for max value.
