Kai-Chen Chang - Ching-Wen Hsu 🎾

This is a round of 16 match from the Shenzhen 2 ITF(hard) between two players from Taipei, Kai-Chen Chang and Ching-Wen Hsu.

This is going to be the first encounter between these two players.

I am backing Ching-Wen Hsu because to me she has played better tennis this year and has managed a record of 16-8 on hard. She also won 2 ITF tournaments this year at Nishi-Tama and Dehra Dun. She also played the qualif. rounds here and defeated Jin 6-2, 6-2 and Hong 3-6, 7-6(3), 7-5. After doing so and getting to the main draw she defeated Ling Zhang(who was one of the favorites of this tournament nr.8 seeded plyaer)6-4, 6-2. By already playing 3 matches here I believe she will be well adjusted for the conditions and surface therefore she will be very prepared.

Kai-Chen Chang has won an ITF tournament this year as well at Jiangmen 2 and she has a record of 11-5 this year on hard. She defeated Yan Wang 6-4, 6-4 but in my opinion did not impress at all in this encounter. One of the main reason why I am going against her today is the fact that in her previous 2 tournaments she payed she lost both times in the first round and against much lower ranked players like Akiko Omae and Natasha Palha and both times in straight sets.

I think that Hsu can manage the win today because I believe she is the player in a better form and the one who showed more promise in her previous matches here.
